Our story begins in Phortse, Nepal in the Khumbu Glacier with the rugged, snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. Our family-owned business has been guiding adventurers across these ancient trails since 2018. As natives of this majestic region, we deeply revere its beauty and mysteries.

Meet The Guides
Ngawang Tenjing Sherpa
Ngawang was born and raised in the Sherpa village of Phortse, Nepal, and he has been trekking and climbing in the Khumbu Valley his entire life. He began his mountaineering career early, being one of the youngest people to ever summit Mount Everest in 2011, at the age of 17. Since then, he has summited the famous mountain a dozen times. Additional summits include multiple ascents of Manaslu, Muztaghata, Amadablam, Labuche, and Kayjo Ri, among others.Instagram @ngawang_tenjing.
Climbing Instructor and Guide
Ngawang is a climbing instructor at the Khumbu Climbing Center in Phortse and completed his trekking guide training in 2018. In addition to being an exceptional mountain climber and trekking guide, Ngawang is also a high-altitude photographer and videographer. Some of his work can be viewed on Instagram @ngawang_tenjing.
Tenzing Gyalzen Sherpa
Tenzing is 30 years old and grew up in Phortse, Nepal, trekking and climbing mountains. Tenzing has accomplished numerous Mount Everest summits. Recently, he was awarded the Guinness Book of World Records world record for establishing the highest weather station in the world, near the summit of Mount Everest. Licensed Mountain Guide and Climbing Instructor
Tenzing is a licensed mountain guide and a certified climbing instructor at the Khumbu Climbing Center, located in Phortse. Tenzing has trekked extensively in the Khumbu Glacier area and climbed most of the notable peaks in the area, including Ama Dablam, Lobuche, Island Peak, and Manaslu, among others. Tenzing is certified in First Aid as a Wilderness First Responder by the International Mountain Medicine Center School of Medicine and has participated in numerous high mountain rescues.
